Be a Volunteer!
Volunteer at Farmfest! CONSIDER THIS YOUR DONATON....and enjoy a great weekend as a Farmfest Farm Hand. Email Stacy Jo at stacyjo@farm-fest.com to reserve your volunteer position. No need to fill out any forms until you get to the festival BUT it would help us if you did.
We are looking for long-term commitment folks, but are happy with a one year helper too. Volunteers, you are the heart and soul of the festival and we depend on you for our existence and health of community. Not only that, it's a blast. Come early...stay late. Come camp all summer if you want. Please call Stacy Jo at 989-619-3333 for summer volunteer live/camp on site positions.
Make plans for Memorial Weekend AND/OR Get ER Done weekend June 21-23. We will be preparing the Farm for fun and music. All are welcome. Bring food to share.
Farmfest volunteers are welcome to set up camp on Wednesday. In fact we encourage all volunteers to come in on Wednesday if you can. Get the best camp sites and check in. Plan on providing your own meals OR bring a dish to pass for the evening meal. Please pay your admission at the main gate, then come back for a refund once you have completed your two 4-hour shifts.
This is a great day to select your campsite and settle in. Fire circle jam sessions, campground pickin' parties and drumming at the kiva are popular activities on Thursday night. Help fine tune the place if you would like to lend a hand.
Areas of responsibility for vounteers include: Main Gate, Feed Bag Café and Pub, Greeters, Kids area, First Aid, Fire Tenders, Second Stage Manager (needs PA), Second Stage Assistance, Recycling, Parking, Volunteer Check-in, Safety, Dance Pavilion Emcees, Main Stage crew (Thursday night & Sunday night), Vendor Check-in, Grounds, Courtesy (assisting handicapped and elderly).
Starting Saturday, Aprill 27 at noon, we will be coordinating all of our volunteer work through the Help the Herd website. Click here to begin volunteering:
